• Reviewing requirements with the Business Analysts and Product Management team for thorough understanding of the application requirements.
• Designing, architecting and developing a highly scalable application.
• Designing, developing and implementing logic to extract, transform and load data from transactional applications into the Data Warehouse / Databases using ETL Tools and PL/SQL for Business Intelligence projects.
• Designing and developing the star schema's / DataMart’s that includes creating Fact Tables and Dimension Tables, Views, Materialized views, partitions, Stored Procedures, packages, Functions and Db-Triggers using PL/SQL to implement according to design meeting business requirements.
• Developing Shell Scripts to schedule Jobs using Scheduler Tools / DBMS Scheduler to execute PL/SQL Stored Procedures and ETL Programs.
• Writing stored procedures, Functions, Packages. PL/SQL routines, Database triggers, Shell-Scripting, and unit testing integrity.
• Providing support with complex backend data extraction, transformation and loading operations on oracle using ETL Tools, External Tables, SQL Loader and DATA PUMP utilities.
• Tuning SQL Queries/ PL/SQL Processes using bulk collections, Hints, Explain Plan, SQLTRACE, and TKPROF for high efficiency.

ETL Data Specialist / Data Stage

• Design, analysis, Implementation, Testing and support of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.
• Programs, designs and codes DataStage, Informatica jobs to load fact and dimensional tables as designed for warehouse using Star Schemas, Snow-Flake Schemas Methodologies handling very huge volume of data.
• Programs data queries, data transformation and loads jobs and data extracts in SQL and PL/SQL using MPP databases.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, Views and Triggers, Complex queries using SQL Server, TSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Conducts performance, functional and load-based testing on applications and identifies ways to improve code in ETL Tool.
